Christ the King Sunday

Summary

Have this mind amongst yourselves which you have in Christ Jesus. Who though he was in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited but emptied himself  taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness and being found in human form he humbled himself and became  obedient to the point of death, even death upon a cross.  Therefore God therefore highly exalted him giving him the name above  all names. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bend.  Today we celebrate that Christ is King.  As we celebrate that we must always remember how he became King.  We must always remember this is an example for us.   We are to be like Jesus who was willing to give everything up.
