Introduction
The seasons of Lent and Easter go hand in hand. Lent is our time of reflection. It is a quieter season normally marked by daily devotions, mid-week community worship and acts of personal self-sacrifice. The themes of Lent are how unable we are to save ourselves and how utterly dependent we are on God’s grace. The season of Easter begins with our celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and continues over the great 50 days as we recall God’s promise of resurrection for all who call on his name and believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Lenten Supper and Worship
Starting Ash Wednesday and for the following consecutive five weeks, we come together for evening prayer service Wednesdays. Soup is served after worship. Everyone is invited.
Holy Week
During Holy Week (the week before Easter) we gather for a Seder Meal on Maundy Thursday and for a worship service on Good Friday.
Easter Sunday
Our joyful celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus.
