Fellowship

Introduction

Fellowship and the ministry of hospitality are central aspects of our faith community. Some of the ways, we regularly meet up for fellowship are:

  • Coffee and Waffles after the Worship service.
  • Pot Luck meals, where everybody who can brings in a dish to share with others.
  • Special events, such as Valentines Dinner, Seder Meal, Lent Soup etc.
  • Baby Showers, Retreats and Picnics.

Everybody is welcome to all of our events. They are a good way for you as a first time visitor, new member or a family member to get to know others in our congregation. We’re always looking for people to help out; either one-time or on a regular basis. Anyone can join in; it’s fun and gives a sense of accomplishment making things nice for others. If you have questions, ideas, or want to help out, feel free to email our Fellowship Committee using contact form.

Hanson Hall

All are welcome to join downstairs (Hanson Hall) after regular church service on Sundays. We serve coffee/tea, waffle (free for first time visitors) and other snacks.

Women’s Gathering

One Friday a month, women of our church meet up for fellowship at the home of one of the members for food, prayer and laughter. Sometime the group meets for lunch. They also arrange a couple special events or retreats every year.

Men’s Gathering

Every year we arrange activities for the male members of the church, such as golf tournaments, sport evenings or camp-outs. In addition, the men meet monthly on a Saturday morning at 09:00 at Church (Fireside room) for bible study and breakfast.
