Advent
During Advent we get ready for Christmas. We prepare our Sanctuary, our homes and hearts to celebrate the Son of God coming to earth. More importantly, it’s also a time when we recall Christ’s promise to return and bring in God’s kingdom. This season reminds us to live the expectation of Jesus’ return. It’s a season of preparation, expectation and living hope.
Christmas Eve
Christmas is our time to remember and give thanks for the birth of Jesus our Lord in Nazareth. It’s an occasion marked by special worship, time spent with family, the giving of gifts and our joy at God’s light which has come into our darkness. Candlelight service at 4:00 pm. Most years the Christmas Eve service is followed by a ‘pot-luck’ or ‘bring and share’ dinner in the Fellowship Hall for many of our members and friends who may be far from home and family. It is an annual event we look forward to each year.
Christmas Day
11:00 am Traditional Service with Holy Communion.
