The American Lutheran Congregation receives support,
about 1000 kroner per full member, from the Norwegian
State and we were informed that a new law might come
and we might lose this support in the near future.
After our Council President John Chamberlain informed
the Congregation earlier many of you have expressed
your concern. Thank you so much.

It is a great part of our income, the ALC Council is
now working hard and getting more information about
this change and how we should respond to it.

As a member and a supporter of ALC, you can also
be engaged in this matter. The link below
will take you to the Norwegian Government site
and you can leave comments and reactions to the
proposed change.

It is all in Norwegian and you will have to answer
some questions, but it is important to leave your
comment and show your support!

We hope you can take some time out from the busy
Christmas preparations and visit the site.
It is open until December 31.
Thank you for your concerns!
