our next ALC Women’s Fellowship meeting will take place on October 21st in the Fireside room at church. We get together at 18:30 for a time of fellowship and encouragment, with some further conversations around the theme of ‘Love, laugh and listen’. As before we ask you to bring some fingerfood to share, it can be savoury or sweet. However, if this is difficult or inconvenient for you, please don’t hesitate to come anyway; there is always enough to go round, and we value having you with us!
We would like to take this opportunity to alert you to the ALC Christmas Market on November 19th and 20th. The craft stall needs more items, and since the knitting group is not currently meeting, we thought we could send out an appeal this way: do you enjoy crafts, knitting, sewing etc? If so, maybe you already have produced items that you might be willing to donate to the stall. We are looking for Christmas decorations, products that are suitable to purchase as gifts, or even preserves like jam, chutney or pickles. The American Women’s Club will have a stall with sweet baked goods, so we can sell savoury products.
Hopefully this little note gets your creative juices flowing, and our crafts table will be laden with wonderful things:-)
