We would like to start a knitting/handicraft group very soon. It would be wonderful time for fellowship and to raise funds for our beautiful Church. We would have to buy the yarn or other materials ourselves and use our spare time to knit and create in our own homes.
We will meet once a month in the Fireside room to discuss, exchange ideas, create and help each other with the tasks. We can also do painting, handicrafts, cards etc. for those who cant knit or crotchet. We price and sell these items at the Bazaar. All proceeds will go to the refurbishment of the Church.
I know there are many talented ladies and men in our Church and they can help to make this a successful project. So please come forward and lets get it started. If you are interested in meeting once a month please email me at perpetuamohr (at) hotmail.com or meet me after Church and we can find suitable days and dates. Thursdays at 6 pm at ALC has been suggested.
