The season of Lent is an important one in the life of the Church. This is the period when Christians come in penitent adoration before their Lord Jesus Christ for the once-and-for-all sacrifice of His life on Calvary for their sins.

Ash Wednesday is Feb 22, 1st Lent Sunday is Feb 26. We are going to make our annual LENT DEVOTIONAL BOOK this year again and we need your contribution! The scriptures for each day in Lent Season are now on the bulletin board. (We have 46 days in total)  We need your sign up!!!

Those who are new at ALC and do not know ALC LENT DEVOTIONAL BOOK, here is some information: ALC makes a Lent Devotional Book every year. It includes a devotion or meditation for each if the days of Lent right up to and including Easter written for us by various members and friends of ALC. The Lent Decotional Book is meant to help us focus ourselves on the Lord during Lent season.
