Youth Faith Formation-Confirmation Ministry to Start

The Faith Formation-Confirmation Ministry is for youth who are presently in the 7th, 8th or 9th grade class at school. The aim of the ministry is to help the youth grow more deeply in their faith, learn about the Lord’s Prayer, the Ten Commandments, the sacraments of Baptism and Communion, why we confess the Apostle’s Creed, but most of all, how do you live out your faith in Jesus Christ as a young teenager.
The youth will learn and grow in a multitude and variety of ways. From reading and presentation, to movies, skits, experiences around town, and simple conversations the youth will interact with one another, and learn from Pastor Joel and other experienced leaders.
We will meet once a month during the school year. The day and time will change each month as schedules allow, but the primary meeting days will be either Friday evening or Sunday afternoon. During the year there will be an overnight retreat one month.
