In the past ALC has asked members of the congregation to write devotions to be included in a Lenten Devotional that is then printed and available for use during the season of Lent. Last year one was not produced because of various circumstances, one of which was lack of writers submitting devotions. Lent begins very early this year, and so we are asking now, during the Advent season who would be interested in writing a devotion (or two!) and submitting them for inclusion in the devotional.
They will need to be completed by the middle of January, since Ash Wednesday is on February 10th. We will need 47 written devotions to fill a devotional.
Please respond to Pastor Joel if you are willing to write (please do not respond if your interest is in using/reading the devotionals, we trust there is enough interest on that end!)
