Join us for the Annual ALC Congregational Retreat!
Saturday, September 13th from 10:00 AM – 17:00
It will be a wonderful opportunity for you to get to know our
new Interim Pastor Peter Rogness and his lovely wife Gerry.
It will be a time of rest, renewal, and the strengthening of bonds
within our community of grace. Come away with us to the beautiful
Østmarkskapellet for a time of fun, food, fellowship and a bit of
learning for all ages.
Directions for those taking public transportation
• Take Tbane number 3 to the end station Mortensrud. Mark Lanham
will be picking people up at Mortensrud starting at 9:00 to take them to
the Grønmo Parking lot, where we will walk in from. There is a Tbann
which leaves National Theatre at 08:18 that will get you to Mortensrud
at 8:46. Please call 93848598 (Kirsten Lanham) if you need to be picked up.
Directions for those driving to the retreat. (Parking lot address: SØRLIVEIEN 1 – Next to the Grønmo Golf course)
• Going South on E6 from Ryenkrysset. Take the Klemetsrud exit and then the Grønmo exit.
• Drive by the landfill. At the end of the road is a free parking lot
• Going South on E18 from Oslo (Mosseveien) take road no 155 East towards Klemetsrud and Enebakk at the Klemetsrud roundabout follow signs towards Grønmo.

We will walk in approx. 2 km, with a gradual to moderate incline, on a
well maintained dirt road. If the walk is too difficult for you, we are allowed
to provide limited transportation to the chapel, please contact Mel Engebretsen
by Friday if you need to be given a ride from the parking lot to the chapel. (Tel: 951 42864)
Note: We are only allowed to drive a car to the chapel before 10 AM and after 5 PM
Cost to cover the lunch and snacks is only 75 kr for adults, 50 kr for children.
