OUR MINISTRIES
Many Gifts. One Community.
Opportunities to get involved and make a difference.
Faith In Action
Our church is shaped and sustained by the people who call it home. With a small staff, we rely on members to share their time and talents in ways both big and small. Whether you help regularly or occasionally, your contribution matters. We know life has busy seasons, so we invite you to explore the many ways you can get involved - whenever and however you are able.
GROWING IN FAITH
Kids Ministry
Our Kids Ministry provides a safe, joyful environment where children can experience God’s love in creative and engaging ways. Through music, stories, and hands-on activities, kids learn timeless truths from the Bible while building friendships and confidence in their faith.
What to Expect:
✝︎ Interactive Bible lessons and crafts
✝︎ Fun games that teach teamwork and kindness
✝︎ Loving volunteers and safe classrooms
✝︎ Programs for preschool through 5th grade

Our Kids Ministry is more than Sunday school — it’s a foundation for lifelong faith. Each week, children experience engaging lessons designed to make Scripture come alive through play, creativity, discovery. Parents feel confident knowing their kids are cared for by trained, background-checked volunteers who truly love what they do.
We also host seasonal events like Vacation Bible School and Family Fun Nights to help children and parents grow together in faith and community.
LEADING THE NEXT
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry at Safe Haven is a space where students can explore their faith, ask honest questions, and form lasting friendships. Through weekly gatherings and service projects we help teens develop a real relationship with Jesus that goes beyond Sunday.

✝︎ Service opportunities and mission trips
✝︎ Mentorship and small-group connections
✝︎ Safe, encouraging community for all students

The teenage years are full of big questions and big possibilities — our Youth Ministry helps students explore both through the lens of faith. Teens gather weekly for worship, discussion, and community, building authentic relationships with peers and mentors who care deeply about their growth.
From retreats and service trips to local hangouts and game nights, each experience is designed to inspire students to live boldly for Christ in school, at home, and beyond.
FAITH THROUGH COMMUNITY

Faith flourishes in community. Our Adult Groups offer a place to connect, share life, and grow spiritually through conversation and prayer. Each group is a mix of ages and backgrounds — people doing life together and supporting one another through every season.
Whether it’s a Bible study, a prayer group, or a dinner fellowship, you’ll find a circle of friends ready to welcome you and walk alongside you on your journey of faith.
LOVE IN ACTION
Community Outreach
Our Community Outreach ministry at Safe Haven Church exists primarily to serve others with compassion and generosity. From local food drives to global missions, we believe faith grows strongest when it’s lived out through love, kindness, and action.
What to Expect:
✝︎ Monthly service projects and volunteer events
✝︎ Partnerships with local nonprofits
✝︎ Seasonal donation drives and community meals
✝︎ Mission opportunities near and far
-
We believe faith should move beyond words into action. Our Community Outreach programs partner with local shelters, food banks, and schools to meet tangible needs in our city. Volunteers prepare meals, deliver supplies, and show up where love is needed most.
Each outreach project — from holiday drives to mission trips — reflects our calling to serve “the least of these” and share God’s hope in both practical and spiritual ways.
FAITH IN ACTION
Why It Matters
Ministry isn’t just about programs—it’s about people. Every act of service, big or small, helps build a stronger church family and reflects God’s love throughout our broader community. When we serve together, we grow together in faith.
BUILDING SOMETHING TOGETHER
Volunteer Spotlight
“Volunteering at ALC allows me to show my two children what it means to serve with a willing heart. When we give our time and work together, we create the belonging and community that can be so easily lost in modern life. I hope that, by seeing me help with different tasks around the church, they learn the value of contributing to something greater than themselves. ALC is supported by a small team, so every helping hand truly matters—and that brings us closer together. After all, the church is not the building; it is the people.”
