ALC exists today because individuals and communities believed in its purpose and gave what they could. Our congregation was established in 1958, and our church building was later made possible through the generosity of members and friends in Norway and the United States.
Many gifts came from Midwestern Lutherans honouring Norwegian parents and grandparents who had crossed the Atlantic with little more than their faith. That faith endured across generations and helped build a church in Oslo.
Today, we carry their legacy forward. Every gift -large or small - helps sustain ALC as a place of worship, belonging, and service for generations to come.
