We are these days (fall 2019) in a period with interim pastor Tim Peterson.

Tim Peterson began as interim pastor of the American Lutheran Congregation in September 2019. His wife’s name is Donadee. They have three adult children and four grandchildren.

Tim is a retired ELCA pastor from Minnesota. He served several congregations in Wisconsin and Minnesota and also served for 28 years as a Chaplain in the Army Reserve and Minnesota Army National Guard.

In March and April 2019 Tim and Donadee came to Norway for a tour where Tim presented all or a portion of the Gospel of Mark from memory in Norwegian in 25 places – churches, schools, prayer houses, and a prison. Tim also presented a portion of the Gospel of Mark one time in English – here at the American Lutheran Congregation for a Wednesday evening Lenten service.

Tim and Donadee are thankful for the opportunity to be with the ALC for this time and pray God’s blessings on the congregation as it prepares to choose and welcome a new pastor.
