 The 2009-2010 Senior High Youth Group has already begun! For those of you who do not know me, I am Kristin Reyes Granados, and I am this year’s Senior High Youth Coordinator. I am looking forward to spending devotional and activity time with the youth. Through prayer, my teaching experience, our fabulous and dedicated youth committee, and my time spent last year with the youth of ALC, I feel equipped to make this year a success for the youth of the American Lutheran Congregation.
This year’s AICEMEA Youth Conference, being held in Berlin this October 22-25, is sure to be one of this year’s highlights. I am happy to report that this year’s number of attendees representing ALC Oslo may double that of last year’s group. The deadline to sign up for this year’s conference is this Sunday, September 13. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
In addition to this year’s conference, already planned is a night out bowling, a scavenger hunt through Oslo, a Christmas party, and a weekend hytte retreat. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, come join in the fun every other Friday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. (19:00). Send me an email and I will be sure you receive invitations to our Senior High Youth Group Events!
