The American Lutheran Congregation is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year.

As part of the celebrations, there will be a concert featuring the Oslo Chamber Orchestra (Oslo Kammerorkester) and guest singers from the Chorus of the Norwegian Opera.  The concert will be on Friday, October 9th, at 7pm, at the ALC.

On the program works by Ole Bull and Giacomo Puccini, plus a new Cantata composed by Átila Mellilo especially for the celebration.

And then on Sunday, October 11th, at 11am (during the Sunday Morning service), the Oslo Chamber Orchestra and the guest singers will perform another new composition written by Mellilo for the Anniversary.  The work is a new setting of the Liturgy for the Divine Service named "Enter His Gates with Thanksgiving".

Tickets for the Friday concert cost kr.100 and can be purchased at the ALC or at the door.

All are invited for the Sunday service to worship God with us, at no cost.
