 The children of Redemption Children's Home have successfully attended this year's Scripture Union Bible Camp in Damongo, October 2008. The children have with great faith and love shown there appreciation to our congregation by drawing pictures and writing touching letters. We are forever thankful for these graceful letters and drawings and we have, as gratitude, distributed them on our web site (Photo Gallery).

 A letter of appreciation
Dear Sir. I am very very grateful to you for the Sponsorship you gave to me during the ... camp. I am saying that may my good Lord bless you and give you success in all your work. I have benefited a lot in the camp. Was able to make a lot of friends during the camp. Our Staying there was helpful to me because of that I am saying may my good lord bless you. One of the interesting thing they thought us was how to be a soldier for the Lord. At the end of the whole thing I was given a "good news bible" which I am now using in my bible studies and I and I was also given results during my staying there which I have attach a photo copy of it for you to have a look.  What I learnt at the camp
I learnt so many things at the camp. This includes the wise king who solved a problem wisely. I also learned about King David and how to make friends. I also learnt that friends can be very bad and they can put you into trouble, so we should always make good friends. I also learnt that we should always pray to God in all things. We should trust the Lord for he will make us as wise as King Solomon. I also learnt that we should take our studies so very hard so that we will become better people in the future and in the name of the Lord. We will also be glorified. I also learnt that we should humble our selves and we shouldn't be proud of our selves.
This is what I learnt at camp. I thank you, my sponsors so much and I pray that God will give them more to be able to sponsor us so that we will be able to learn more and may God bless them by Lerma Betty
