Many churches have a tradition of presenting the children of the church
with a Bible. We would like to invite all the children of ALC, born in
2008 or earlier, to receive a Bible on Sunday, April 2nd, during worship.
If you have a child born in 2008 or earlier who would like to receive a Bible,
please send your child’s full name to Sarah Kaldestad (sarahkaldestad (AT) hotmail.com)
by March 19th. If you will not be able to attend services on April 2nd, the Bible
can be set aside and picked up in the church office at a later time.
We hope to make this a yearly tradition, so that the children who are too
young for this year’s ceremony can look forward to receiving a Bible when
they are old enough.
