Born Apr. 29, 1950, Bayonne, N.J. to Palmer (1921-) and Gloria (Freer, 1923-) Turnheim. Died Aug. 18,1959, Morristown, N.J. Burial at Fair Mount Cemetary, Chatham, N.J.
"Always proud of her Viking ancestry, she was especially proud of her Norwegian costume given to her by her paternal grandmother. She was awarded First Prize as the youngster best exemplifying her
Norwegian ancestry at the Womens' International Exposition in New York City, Nov. 1957. Early in 1958 she developed an illness which after a long period of hospitalization caused her death at age nine.

Beloved by all who knew her, several thousand dollars have been given in her memory to the building fund of Zion Lutheran Church to build additional Sunday School facilities for her many friends and playmates."

Honored by her parents Palmer and Gloria Turnheim.
