Born May 18, 1879, Koshkonong, Wis, to Dr. Hans Gerhard and Diderikke (Aal Ottesen) Stub.
Attended: University of Minnesota; Luther College, A.B. 1900; Luther Seminary, C.T. 1903; D.D. from Whitworth College, 1900. Married Victoria Saxe, June 30, 1903. He went directly to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seattle, Wash.; where he served 54 years. He helped organize the Seamen's Mission in Seattle, and was active in many church and civic affairs. In 1947 he was knighted by King Haakon VII,
Order of St. Olaf, First Class.

STUB, GULBORG VICTORIA (SAXE)
Born Dec. 2, 1882, Oslo, Norway. with her parents immigrated in 1883 to Eau Claire, Wis.
where her father was publisher of a Norwegian weekly. In 1890 the family moved to Minneapolis where her father was associated wi th the Norwegian weekly paper "Folkebladet".

Children: Hans Gerhard and Sylvia Antonia, both teachers.
