 BERNHARD BJØRNSEN NORNES, Born Feb. 22, 1866, Skudesneshavn, Norway, to Børe Bj¢rnsen, and wife Gunhild.

Immigrated in 1884, to Perley, Minn. Married Petra Bertine Melbo, July 8, 1888, who had immigrated that year. Petra was born Apr. 14, 1866, Skudesneshavn, to Kristofer and Serine Didrikke Melbo. Died, 1954. Petra died, 1936.

Eleven children, all living (1961) :Carl; Gunhild; Selma; Bergit; Didrik; Paul; Louise, Ruth, Agnes; Esther, Helmer;

31 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren; and one great great

grandchild; 80 direct descendants.
