Born Jan. 27, 1876, Verdalen, Norway,
to Knud Olson (1826-1907) and Anna Elizabeth (Iversdatter; 1833-1881).  Baptized at Stiklestad. Immigrated in 1880 to Red River Valley, Minn. Married Charles Herman Nord (b. 1860, Ostadkulle, Sweden; immigrated at age 21), Rutland, N.D. Died Aug. 21, 1955, Wolverton, Minn.

Children: Emil Selmer, Wolverton, Minn.; Carl Johan, Titusville, Fla.; Richard Julius, Breckenridge, Minn.; Dagny Linnea Larson, Puyallup, Wash.; Albin Rudolph, Wolverton, Minn.; Winton Melanchton; Pearl Lydia Bjorke, Stoughton, Wis.; Judith Cecelia, Fergus Falls, Minn.;
Melvin Justin, Wolverton, Minn.; Willys Oneil, Smyrna, Tenn.; Adella Mathilda Wood, Astoria, Ore.

Three children died in childhood. 24 grandchildren (1965) and a great many great grandchildren.
