NILSEN, Rev. OLE Born Mar. 8, 1844, Aal, Hallingdal, Norway, to Nils K. Gudmundsrud and Sigrid o. (Gjeldaker). Immigrated in 1871. Married Eveline Evenson, 1882 (died 1903); Married Mrs. Anna Swenson (Sunde), 1906. Died Sept. 26, 1933 Served parishes: Northwood, Ia.; Scandinavia,Wis.; retired in Grand Forks,N.D. He was well known for his many services to the church and homes of Norwegian people. Editor of "Luthersk Börneblad"; "Hallingen".  Authored: "TalleTangen", "Dalrosen", "Festfryd",  "Luthers Liv"; "Läsebog" and many other works.

NILSEN, Mrs. OLE (maiden name Birgitte Eveline Evenson) Born 1854, Brevik, Norway. Her parents died when she was young; She lived with her brother Consul C.B.Evenson,in Brevik. She taught in the Brevik schools; studied in Englandi taught in Arendal, studied in Paris. Immigrated in 1882, and the same year married Rev. Nilsen, Northwood, Ia. Died 1903, Scandinavia, Wis. They had six children.
