Born Jan. 18, 1831, Hallingdal, Norway to H. and Kari Espeset.

Immigrated in 1846, a 13-week sailing trip to New York, then to Rock Prairie, Wis. Confirmed by the pioneer pastor Rev. C.L. Clausen. Then to Waterville, lA.  Married to Erick Kittelson in 1850. Moved to Estherville, lA. in 1870 where she died Dec. 8, 1910.
