Born May 23, 1851, Sauherad,

Norway to 0le and Gaste (Ro11efsdatter) Olsen.

 

Married to Ingeborg A.

Kaasine, Feb. 17, 1897, at Skien. Died Aug. 12, 1922.

He first immigrated to America while in his mid-twenties.

He farmed in Minn. and Dak. Upon the death of his father he returned to Norway to assume the management of the farm for his mother. He was the oldest of 12 children. In August, 1905, he again immigrated to America with his wife and two daughters. They settled in King Co., Washing'ton, vvhere he farmed and worked in the lumber industry.

In 1914 they moved to Seattle, Wash. He died while in Norway, in 1922.
