Immigrated at age 19 to Kenda11 Co., Ill. m. Ju1ia Severtson in 1877.
Died Nov. 7, 1931, age 81. His wife died Oct. 8, 1921, age 64.
They spent their entire life after marriage on a farm near He1mar, Ill.
They had seven sons, one of which was Melvin, and one daughter.

TESDAL, HALVOR O. Born Jan. 23, 1867, Etna, Norway.
Immigrated at age 14, with his parents and three younger sisters. m. Carrie Johnson (b. Nov. 27, 1868) of Morris, Ill.
Died Oct. 3, 1930. They had three sons and five daughters, one of which is Mrs. Me1vin Hexte11.
