to Her1eik (1804-73) and Jorand (1821-1903) Thunehagen Trageton.
Grandfathers: Syver Trageton; 01e Kaupang. Grandmothers:
Guri Berg; Anne Levorson. Brothers and sisters: Syver (1849-1915);
E11ef (1851-1915); Guri (1853-90); He1ga (1854-1918); Jorand (1856-1922);
Birgit (1858-1932'); Kari (1860-1929); Aase (1862-?); Anne (1863-1935).
Immigrated in 1880. ffi. He1ga Trageton, Nov. 26, 1884, Northwood, N.D.
Died June 10, 1915, Northwood.
He had a talent for music, which was shared with his children.
Missions and Christian education were his chief interests.
He was one of the founders of the Bethania congregation and served as deacon and
"klokker" (precentor) most of his life. Four of his children are college graduates; one son a pastor.
Children: Henry (1886-1938); Gina (1887-1941); Arne (1889-1935) a Lutheran pastor;
Sevren (b. 1891) farmer; Eddie (1893-1951); 01iver (b. 1894) farmer;
Ju1ia (b. 1896;m. 01e Sande ); He1ma (b. 1898; m. Envin Engen); Beata (b. 1901; m. A. Markve).
